Value thoery = what’s good for people (are there objective answers for everyone)

- Instrumental goods (valuable b/c it helps produce something good)
- Intrinsic goods / valuable in themselves
- I recon this is similar to extrinsic / intrinsic motivation I recon privacy is an instrumental good

Decentralized = things happen on device unless the server is absolutely necessary
If we did a vote to see if we use the privacy first app or public health first app, the people who wanted privacy wouldn’t download the app if we went with the health first app
A good “justification” to reason w/ someone who chose the other option should be something that acknowledges what they want and explains why the other option was chosen
